01 / THE PRINCIPLE

ReelTech lift and separate power supply principle
Each function
has its own circuit.
Multicircuit separates the power inputs for the motor and associated equipment. The luminaire and lift can therefore operate on distinct circuits.
This separation addresses site operating requirements: the lift motor does not have to receive the same electrical control as the luminaire.
02 / DIMMING

Multicircuit diagram from MinoLight documentation
Protect the motor’s
power supply.
A dimmer on the luminaire circuit must not supply the lift motor. This applies particularly to installations using a Triac dimmer.
The motor supply remains dedicated and must comply with its instructions. Protection and control are assessed by the professional responsible for wiring.
03 / UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE
Multicircuit and Multicontact
work together.
Multicircuit separates power supplies. Multicontact provides additional signal connections, including DALI, DMX or 1–10 V depending on the model.
Super Heavy Duty is described as including Multicircuit as standard. For other models and combinations of options, the configuration is checked before quotation.
Circuits must be coordinated according to the instructions to prevent movement while the transmission contacts remain live.
